Handmade udon noodles with fish tendashi and sweet braised tofu. Kitsune means fox in Japanese, some say this connection comes from foxes love of eating fried tofu (Abura-age), while others claim it's because the colour of the braised tofu resembles fox fur. As with the hot version of this dish our cold kitsune udon has become a koya staple, and it’s perfect meal for cooling off in hot weather.
